Dyson Meets Wasp

Tonight a pain in the ass wasp chased me (I’ll admit it) into my house, it made it past my screen door due to a less stellar than usual door closing by myself.  It got its sting in, but wasn’t able to find its way out the open door. I had just finished vacuuming.  What else would I do? Vengeance.

What’s a Cornucopia of Awesomeness?

A lot of things are cornucopias of awesomness.  This is one of my favorite descriptors for things, if you know me, you’ve probably heard me say it before.  Here is the video documentation, from my home land, featuring an interview with the inventor of the phrase:

SIGG: What You Need to Know Before Buying a SIGG Bottle

7537-60-sigg-lifestyle-swiss-cross-1-0-liter-aluminum-waterbottleHi  [easyazon-link asin=”B000R7P83A”]SIGG[/easyazon-link],

You’re pretty smart, you really pulled one over on me. When the news came out a few years back about my faithful [easyazon-link asin=”B001NCDE98″]Nalgene[/easyazon-link] bottles and how they were going to kill me if I had another sip from them, I quickly pitched them.  Shortly afterwards, I spent a lot of time running around town looking for the  [easyazon-link asin=”B000R7P83A”]SIGG[/easyazon-link] bottles that were cool looking and completely safe, IE: not chopped full of BPA like my [easyazon-link asin=”B001NCDE98″]Nalgene[/easyazon-link] bottles were.

Well three expensive bottles later, the truth comes out.  Up until a year ago the  [easyazon-link asin=”B000R7P83A”]SIGG[/easyazon-link] bottles were chopped full of BPA too, all 3 of my bottles have the BPA liner.  This makes me uneasy.  Not because of the BPA really, I believe your tests and everything else, but if you were to have told me up front that you used it, but used it differently (like you’re trying to now) then I would feel a lot better. Problem is, now I’m not in the mood to listen.  When I was buying your product I was, but not any more.  Now I’m on the hunt for something new. I won’t pitch your bottles right away, but I sure won’t be buying one ever again. What else have you decided I’m not ready to know about yet?

Since I’ve had a lot of people write me about this post, I wanted to post some products that I actually use now instead of  [easyazon-link asin=”B000R7P83A”]SIGG[/easyazon-link]. Nalgene’s actually come back in my good books, they came clean and now produce new, safe, bottles that are free of BPA. I also use a lot of plain stainless steel bottles that are cheap and durable as well.
